What I've Been Doing Today So Far...

You can see more details on my experiences here in Germany at , but I've been thrilled to do a handful of interviews today!

  1. Wow! You did so good, Samantha. I didn't realize you would be interviewing all the performers. Was it nerve racking? It must have been exciting. Are you going to get to interview more at a later date? And what other events do you have planned until the big day? Where will you be during the finals and semi-finals? Its so exciting!

  2. Does it make me a huge dork that I was jumping around while watching this and being like "thats my girl Sam, yay!" Maybe I can come and be your assistant one of these years, hehe.

  3. Is that you next to all those stars? Hieno! Onneksi olkoon!

How was it sitting next to all those stars? Were they smaller than you expected? I hear that happens when one gets used to a celebrity as seen on television, computer, so on, and when one meets the celebrity in person, they appear much smaller than anticipated. They say this is attributed to the camera, which is said to always add ten pounds or so, but I theorize that it can also be attributed to the status we assign these stars mentally. In effect, if a star is big fame-wise, they also get physically bigger, but only in the minds of observers and obviously not in real life.

I may not know you personally, but I am still already so proud of you! Keep up the great work!

  4. Hey, guys! Yep, I'm going to be interviewing probably about 15 artists, ranging from Albania to Italy to Ukraine. I'm listed for about 15 so far, and possibly more to come. Everybody's been really wonderful! Senit is statuesque and an absolute sweetheart (and I'm not just saying that because my seat is next to the Sanmarinese delegation!), Emmy's incredibly energetic, Aurela is incredibly passionate (a diva in the best possible way), and Finland's Paradise Oskar is very nice, as well. (I'll upload that video later today, as soon as ESCKaz puts in online!).
